A Partnership for the Ocean
In 2021, Blue Shark Vodka partnered with the Atlantic Shark Institute, a leading non-profit research organization dedicated to advancing the science and understanding of Atlantic shark species. Together, they launched a shark-tagging mission to gather critical data on the elusive female blue sharks, whose populations are in decline and whose biology remains less understood. This project involved tracking the sharks’ migration and collecting tissue samples to study their health and reproductive status. The goal: to ensure the long-term survival and sustainability of blue sharks in the Atlantic.

Equalise: Flavored Vodka Meets Art and Advocacy.
Building on this conservation ethos, Blue Shark Vodka joined forces in 2024 with world-renowned ocean artist Wyland to launch the Equalise series—a line of naturally flavored vodkas under the Equalise Flavored Vodka LLC label. Each release features Wyland’s original marine art, with all proceeds supporting the Wyland Foundation’s ocean conservation initiatives.
The first in the series, Wyland’s Vanilla Vodka, debuted in December 2024. The second, Wyland’s Lemon Vodka, launched in May 2025, infused with Sicilian lemon rinds and adorned with a stunning oil painting of a lemon shark. Each year and each flavor will feature a new label that will spotlight a different marine species, blending art, taste, and advocacy in a bottle.
