Blue Shark Vodka named among best domestic vodkas at Fifty Best competition

For the second consecutive year, Blue Shark Vodka was named among the best vodkas in the U.S. at The Fifty Best competition. The competition this year conducted a blind taste test of 15 selected domestic vodkas and awarded them with designations of double gold, gold, silver and bronze.

Competition judges awarded Blue Shark Vodka with a gold medal in 2022 (the premier year of the competition) and again in 2023. Blue Shark Vodka was the only vodka from the Carolinas awarded.

In their notes this year, judges wrote they experienced vanilla, notes of nuts, white pepper, lime skin, anise and bright, subtle and creamy tastes on the palate. The finish was described as having vanilla cream, cocoa notes, hibiscus, and “zesty” and “elegant” taste.
