Mark your calendars for UNCW CIE’s Ocean Innovation Conference on Tuesday, September 29 at the Burney Center on UNCW’s campus. The day brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and students around one idea: connect through water, innovate with purpose.
This year’s keynote speaker is Hanli Prinsloo, a South African freediving champion, ocean conservationist, and founder of I AM WATER Ocean Conservation. The agenda also features three panels on the blue economy, ocean tech, and the future of seafood, along with an Innovation Fair showcasing the startups and nonprofits working at the intersection of ocean conservation and innovation.
